Kunna legal

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Kunna when you create an account, access kunna.co, or use the Kindo app and related services. You represent that you are legally able to enter this agreement. If you are under the age of majority in your place of residence, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms and supervise your use. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

Definitions and scope

In these Terms, "Kunna," "we," "our," and "us" refer to the operator of Kindo. "Kindo" or "Service" includes our websites, mobile applications, and associated features. "User Content" means information you submit or store through Kindo, including tasks, events, notes, grocery items, reminders, budgets, places, and messages. These Terms apply only to Kindo and do not automatically apply to third-party products or services.

What Kindo provides

Kindo is a family organization platform designed to help households plan and coordinate everyday life. Features may include shared tasks, reminders, calendars, shopping lists, pet care records, notes, budgeting tools, and saved locations. Features may vary by device, region, language, and plan type. We may modify, improve, replace, or retire features from time to time to maintain service quality, security, and product direction.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for all activity under your account credentials. You agree to keep your password confidential, use reasonable security practices, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of your account. We may require identity or account verification steps in some circumstances to protect users and service integrity.

Family collaboration and permissions

Kindo allows shared spaces and collaboration among family members or other invited participants. You are responsible for who you invite and what information you share with them. You represent that you have all permissions and legal basis required to upload or share household information about yourself or others, including minors where applicable. We are not responsible for disputes between household members regarding visibility, edits, or deletion of shared content.

User content and ownership

You retain ownership of the User Content you create in Kindo. By submitting or storing content in the Service, you grant Kunna a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate, secure, maintain, improve, and provide the Service for you and people you authorize. This license ends when your content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup retention, legal obligations, and technical limitations.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Kindo. Prohibited conduct includes: violating laws; uploading harmful code; attempting unauthorized access; interfering with service availability; abusing or harassing other users; infringing intellectual property rights; impersonating another person; scraping data in unauthorized ways; or using Kindo to distribute spam, fraudulent, or malicious content. We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend access, remove content, or take other action as appropriate.

Third-party services and app stores

Kindo may contain links, integrations, or references to third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Kunna does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, content, security, or availability. If you download Kindo through an app store, additional platform terms may apply to billing, refunds, subscriptions, and device compatibility.

Availability, maintenance, and updates

We aim to provide reliable service, but Kindo may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, outages, or events beyond our control. We may deploy bug fixes, security patches, or feature updates automatically where supported by your device and settings. Continued use of Kindo may require installing updates. We do not guarantee that every feature will be available at all times or on all devices.

Paid plans, billing, and cancellation

Some Kindo features may require payment. If you purchase a subscription, pricing, trial terms, billing cycle, taxes, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You are responsible for managing cancellation through the billing platform used for purchase (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play). Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable after the current billing period begins.

Privacy and data handling

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Kindo Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Kindo, you acknowledge that data may be processed in regions where we or our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards. You remain responsible for the lawfulness of information you upload about others and for obtaining permissions required by applicable privacy laws.

Intellectual property rights

Kindo, including its software, design, trademarks, branding, and non-user content, is owned by Kunna or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from Kindo except as expressly allowed by law or with our written permission.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Kindo and close your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to all or part of the Service if we reasonably believe: (a) these Terms were violated; (b) your use creates legal, security, or operational risk; (c) we must comply with law or regulator requests; or (d) prolonged inactivity affects account status under applicable policy. Certain provisions of these Terms remain in effect after termination, including sections related to ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Kindo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kunna and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kunna and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of Kindo, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice through the Service or other reasonable channels when required by law. Your continued use of Kindo after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws identified in Kunna legal notices, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your place of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by the competent courts or dispute resolution bodies required by applicable law.
